I set out to capture the small mechanical world of plastic toys, and these recordings have been prepared for your immediate use. Every performance was recorded close and clean, then tagged with the Universal Category System naming convention and rich Soundminer embedded metadata for fast, reliable searching. This collection encompasses wind-up and friction-powered plastic toys — the tiny clicking of a toy being wound, the ratcheting of a hand crank, the whir of a pull-back motor — along with a coin-operated gumball machine dispensing capsules.
